So you wanna have an impact on the WORLD? Great! So do I.
In fact, along with my calling to set captives free, it’s what led me to create this website. While reading something written by Leonard Ravenhill, this line jumped off the page at me:
“The man who can get believers to praying would, under God, usher in the greatest revival the world has ever known”
Since it’s only by the Father’s drawing that an individual can come to Jesus at all (John 6:44); and since true freedom only happens if the Son of God sets them free (John 8:36); and for any mountain to be moved it must be by the work of God’s Holy Spirit (Zech. 4:6,7), does it not follow that we must PRAY if we wish to see that happen in the heart of someone who is bound?
And knowing the power of 2 or more praying together*, it dawned on me that the best way I can have an impact on the whole world (or even just my city or neighborhood) and set captives free is to get others to not only pray themselves, but start PRAYER MEETINGS. Why? Because multiplied prayers bring true REVIVAL – not only to individuals, but to nations! – and the best way to multiply prayers is to multiply prayer meetings.

Is God speaking to YOUR heart as well?
No matter how weak you are, no matter how little you know the Bible, regardless of how often or how badly you sin (and we all do – yes, even true believers/followers of Jesus Christ) or whatever your handicap, if you have a heart beating in your chest YOU CAN START A PRAYER MEETING! The big question is…will you?
With the way the worldwide prayer movement has been exploding in recent years, I believe God is calling many to a greater involvement in prayer. How much better would it be – to not only increase your own individual praying for others but multiply it by having others pray WITH you? And if prayer meetings multiply all over the world, how much sooner would the world see the revival it desperately needs?
